Josephine has exhibited entrepreneurial spirit from a young age. At just seven years old, she began selling dog treats along Brighton promenade to fundraise for a volleyball court at her school. Her entrepreneurial journey continued with her venture into making and selling slime, with her first batch being sold at Brighton Pride. This business expanded across multiple platforms, eventually funding the start of Josephine Jones.
Josephine's inspiration is deeply rooted in her personal experiences. As a mixed-race individual raised by a resilient single parent, she draws strength and motivation from her upbringing. Our ethos of sustainability and inspiration from vintage fashion reflects Josephine's background of being raised in an underprivileged environment where second-hand shopping, up-cycling, and owning vintage, preloved pieces were a way of life.
Today, Josephine runs Josephine Jones alongside her Mum, who continues to be her greatest source of inspiration and motivation.
